CDPING: This is an addition to standard unix ping which can show "timeouts" and the jitter in the answers. Besides that, the program can record timeouts and if jitter and response time exceed specified values. This new version can also track changes of received values of TTL in icmp echos which is a hint for route changes. Here you find the source code as public domain.
